For some people, buying a car is not entirely about the size and speed of the car. Such people consider car colours a crucial factor when considering their options of which car to buy and which ones they don’t really fancy.
For instance, white remains the most popular colour in the world. According to Global Automotive Colour Popularity Report, white held on to 38 per cent of the global market. This made it the most dominant car colour for 10 years run
1. Nitro Yellow – 2020 Toyota Supra
Toyota will be offering some car colours with dope names for 2020. These colours have been the favourite of many car lovers in recent years. Three colours: Renaissance Red, Nitro Yellow and Nocturnal Black will be storming the market in 2020.
Nitro Yellow is one of the eight new colour palette options that Toyota will be offering following the launch of their 2020 Supra model. The car features loud and bold colours, which are in consonance with the style and design of the car. The Nitro Yellow will cost customers an additional N144,000.
2. Glowing Yellow – 2020 Hyundai Sonata
Other carmakers are also preparing to storm the market with bright and charming colours for 2020. Hyundai is bringing a facelift version. While the safety feature comes with an amazing 13 ultrasonic sensors, 3 radar sensors and 5 cameras, it is the colour option that has sparked an incredible amount of excitement from the public. The Sonata will be coming in a Glowing Yellow palette.
3. Twister Orange Metallic – 2020 Shelby Mustang GT500
The 2020 Ford Mustang is getting rave reviews for its coolness. The car comes with an incredible speed that beats the previous models. But it is the colour that stole the show at its unveiling. It will be coming in a Twister Orange Metallic and some other variants. The colour is actually a call back to the 1970 Mustang Twister Special. The Twister Orange will be difficult to ignore because of its charm.
4. Lantana Purple – 2020 McLaren 600LT
The Lantana Purple is seen by many as a strategic appeal to the millennials. This is because of its muted but flashy shade of purple that demands attention from both passers-by and drivers. The Lantana Purple is regarded as an attention grabber because of its bright hues. Also, very few cars have spotted all purple since the 2016 Jeep Wrangler.
5. Verde Chiaro – 2019 Fiat 500
The Verde Chiaro is a shade of light green that is a solid throwback. Fiat sometimes brings back special models after the 1957 Edition.
6. Rally Green ‘Shock’ – 2020 Chevrolet Camaro
The success recorded from the 2019 green tint, popularly known as Shock, has spurred Chevrolet into designing its 2020 Chevrolet Camaro in Rally Green. In 2019, the new green hue gathered a ton of positive reviews. The 2020 colour will be a throwback to the 1968 and 1969 models.
7. Infrared Red – 2019 Lexus ES
The Moonbeam Beige Metallic and Sunlit Green were well received by car lovers. These hues took the public by surprise; as they were like nothing that had been used on a car before. One review described the colour thus: the colour “mimicked light reflecting off fresh snow and the other replicates the tint of the ocean water brightened by the sun.”
8. Espresso Metallic – 2020 Buick Envision
Two new colour options will be available for the 2020 Buick Envision model. They are Dark Moon Metallic and the much talked about Espresso Metallic. The name for the colour combination has continued to generate controversy among car lovers who cannot marry the contrast inherent in the milk colour of espresso and the metallic brown. However, the colour has proven to be sophisticated and desirable.
9. Pastel Collection – Rolls-Royce
The Rolls Royce Bespoke is known for its artistic and aesthetic uniqueness and how it projects the dreams of endless possibilities. The Pastel Collection will feature coral Dawn convertible, yellow Wraith coupe and an aquamarine Ghost.
10. Gold Chrome Wrap – 2019 Honda Civic Type R and NSX
